December 4 – 23, 2021
10am–5:00pm, 7 days a week
44 Washington Ave (YWCA NENY) & 32 Washington Ave (SCHS Museum)

The Festival of Trees is an annual collaboration between YWCA NENY and the Schenectady County Historical Society. Each year, community members set up beautiful trees at both locations and keep them up for the month of December. Over a thousand people came to last year’s Festival to enjoy the collection of lighted fir trees with decorations that are classic to creative and everything in between.

The Festival will take place from December 4th to December 23rd, 2021. Tickets cost $6 for anyone above the age of 12, and can be purchased at the Schenectady County Historical Society.

Trees are on display at both the SCHS Museum at 32 Washington Avenue and YWCA NENY headquarters at 44 Washington Avenue. Hours are 10am to 5pm 7 days a week; but Friday hours extend to 9pm.

For more information, please contact Kyla Meltzer, Assistant Development Director at the YWCA, or Susanna Fout, SCHS’s Exhibitions and Collections Manager.
