They will engage in hands-on activities such as sensory play with mud kitchens, imaginative storytelling in natural hideaways, and adventurous climbing on custom-built structures. The Toddler Playground will be a natural playground accessible by exiting two of three toddler classrooms in the building for children ages 18 months to 3 years. Here, they’ll enjoy sensory play in mud kitchens, imaginative storytelling in natural hideaways, and adventurous climbing on custom-built structures. The Infant Playground will be a natural playground will be for children ages 6 weeks to 18 months. The area will provide the youngest children with the chance to explore weather and landscapes, listen to natural sounds like rustling leaves and birdsong, and observe older children playing in the adjacent playground. The equipment will be suitable for infants, including small slides, climbers, and water play features. The $30,000 sponsorship of the infant playground will include:

The Teachers Resource and Education Wing will feature either of two lounges for teachers to unwind during breaks, two offices, a dedicated staff meeting area with a conference room, an educational and resource hub for teachers, and a flexible space earmarked for future programs or a library for the center. The $30,000 sponsorship of the Teachers Resource and Education Wing will include:

Large Gym Space - $30,000
The Large Gym Space will serve as a vital space for preschool and toddler classrooms, catering to children aged 18 months to 5 years. Emphasizing health and wellness, YWCA NENY’s Early Learning Center (ELC) programs integrate physical activity into daily routines. Preschoolers and toddlers will engage in an hour of large motor activities in the gymnasium every day. Activities include: Simon Says, yoga, Duck Duck Goose, Catch the Teacher, and other activities like skipping, jumping, tumbling, bike riding, hula hoops, and obstacle courses. The $30,000 sponsorship of the Large Gym Space will include:

Small Gym Space - $10,000
The Small Gym Space will serve as a vital space for the infant classrooms, catering to children aged 6 weeks to 18 months. Emphasizing health and wellness, YWCA NENY’s Early Learning Center (ELC) programs integrate physical activity into daily routines. Infants will engage in an hour of large motor activities in the gymnasium every day. Activities include: ball rolling, tumbling, and exploring soft large motor play equipment like crash pads and sensory mats. The $10,000 sponsorship of the Small Gym Space will include:

Kitchen - $10,000
All our programs feature breakfast, lunch, and snacks, freshly prepared daily in our kitchen. Our nutrition program follows a 4-week rotating menu approved by the New York State Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Additionally, our kitchen offers iron-fortified formula, cereal, and baby food, ensuring comprehensive nutrition for all. We embrace breastfeeding and serve meals family-style, prioritizing fresh produce and whole grains. All YWCA NENY ELCs maintain peanut and nut control and are free from pork products. The $10,000 sponsorship of the Kitchen will include:
