This unique event, dreamt up by our program staff, will feature models from diverse backgrounds showcasing sustainable fashion and the value of boosting your confidence and working with what you own. Our goal is to raise $20,000 through this event to sustain and enhance the program for our clients, bridging gaps left by grant funding.
“STRIVE to Thrive” by YW Strive is far from your typical fashion show. It’s a gathering designed to highlight the dynamic connections between fashion, sustainability, and diverse industries. Through pioneering partnerships within the community, the event will demonstrate how fashion can enhance self-expression through working with what you have. Strive is also breaking new ground by offering extensive support to participants, including mentorship and valuable resources, to assist individuals from various backgrounds. This initiative highlights Strive’s dedication to empowering individuals in the workforce, including those re-entering it or looking to transition into new fields.

All proceeds will benefit our YW STRIVE program which is a free personal and professional development program designed to help participants who face employment or underemployment barriers develop the professional habits and skills that are most sought after by employers.
