Summer Programs

Kids don’t want to spend their days doing the same old thing over and over again!  YWCA Summer Fun Day’s provide children with summer adventures that promote a healthy, fun and educational summer day. Children spend time indoors and outdoors as experienced staff lead children in a wide variety of activities each day, including arts and crafts, games, dance and songs, sports, swimming and weekly off-site field trips. In addition, we continue to integrate our healthy kid’s curriculum into our summer fun programs. Children participate in weekly interactive activities and athletics to gain basic knowledge on how to incorporate proper nutrition, exercise and positive self images into their everyday lives.

Children feel safe and celebrated for who they are and given experiences which help promote self esteem and self worth. Children will experience new things, develop new skills, and have fun along the way. An environment is created where children are active, learning, laughing, and are made to feel special.
