Your story can inspire change and help others in our community. By sharing your experiences, you can raise awareness about domestic violence, homelessness, and childcare challenges, while encouraging others to seek support.

At YWCA Northeastern NY, we provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to share your story. We invite you to make a difference by sharing your voice and helping others in need.

By submitting your story to YWCA Northeastern NY, you understand and agree to the following:

Privacy and Anonymity:
Unless otherwise stated, names will be changed when publishing survivor stories to maintain confidentiality. YWCA NorthEastern NY may edit stories for graphic content to ensure they are appropriate for our platforms and adhere to age-appropriate language and content.

Use and Ownership:

  • I grant YWCA NorthEastern NY permission to use and publish my story online, irrespective of its previous publication or quotation in news articles, personal social media, blog accounts, third-party curator-run blog sites, and similar platforms.
  • YWCA NorthEastern NY holds complete ownership of my story, including full copyright, and may utilize it for any purpose consistent with YWCA NorthEastern NY’s mission.

Note: We respect your privacy and will ensure that names are changed to maintain confidentiality for survivor stories.
