“Darkness can not drive out darkness, only light can do that”

Join us in spreading joy at Season of Light! We invite you to showcase your creativity with a display that reflects the warmth and hope of the season. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, promote your mission, and celebrate all holidays together. Let’s light up the season!
Once registered, Danielle will be in touch to schedule your set-up day and time. This year’s set-up timeframe will be November 11th – 22nd.
What is Season of Light?
Season of Light is an event where we embrace and celebrate diversity in all holidays and people. Last year, we challenged our community partners to choose a holiday celebrated during the holiday season and create an engaging display for our community. It was so incredible, we’re doing it again!
Our goal is to showcase all holidays that families are celebrating this season, educate one another, and give us all a new perspective on the many ways this season is celebrated.
This year’s event will run from November 29th to January 2nd at 44 Washington Ave in Schenectady. All proceeds will benefit our shelter for survivors and their families.
