Hear Our Voices, Heal Our Hearts a Candlelight Vigil

The Parents of Murdered Children & Other Survivors (POMC) and YWCA NorthEastern NY have partnered to host events for the City and County of Schenectady during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
On Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 at 6pm, ‘Hear Our Voices, Heal Our Hearts’ a candlelight vigil event will be held to honor those we have lost to violence at YWCA NorthEastern NY located at 44 Washington Avenue in Schenectady. We invite families and community members who have lost a loved one to violence to come to stand with us in solidarity as we remember those we have lost and unite in the journey forward as we navigate through grief.
The Annual Ceremony of Remembrance for Homicide Victims will be held on Friday, June 7, at noon in Schenectady’s Central Park Rose Garden.
