As first time parents, we were nervous about sending our infant son to daycare, but all of our worries have been put to rest by the calm, caring staff of the YWCA ELC in the Stockade. We appreciate the small class size, personal attention he receives, attention to health and safety details, and stimulating environments, like daily walks. The location, too, could not be more convenient for our family who live and work in the Stockade! It allows us to concentrate on our work knowing he is happy in safe and trustworthy hands.

I love and recommend the YWCA SCCC campus to everyone. The staff are amazing and very attentive. My child is very shy around people, but when he goes to daycare, he seems to feel right at home. He is only 1 years old and knows how to count to 20, knows his alphabet, knows some shapes, knows his animals, has manners, and so much more. I appreciate the YWCA and all of their staff because without them, I’m not sure where we would be. I feel very secure sending my son everyday. The YWCA SCCC campus is like an extended family to us. I have lots of love and appreciation for everyone there including the very involved assistant director.

As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with the YWCA Early Learning Center. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and truly cared for my child as if they were their own. The environment is safe, clean, and full of engaging activities that help my child learn and grow every day. I’ve seen such a positive change in their social skills an independence.
