Every person deserves the freedom to move forward with dignity.

The YWCA NorthEastern NY Board of Directors has set a goal to raise $10,000 for the Dignity & Freedom Fund, a unique pool of unrestricted funding designed to meet the needs of individuals and families that don’t always fit neatly into a program budget. Whether it’s our domestic violence programs, housing programs, racial justice initiatives or early learning centers-we want to be prepared for each and every emerging need.

Sometimes, freedom looks like a bus pass to get to work. Sometimes, dignity means replacing a lost birth certificate, purchasing a child’s winter coat, providing emergency food, or helping someone secure the small necessities that make a major life transition possible.

Because our clients are people, not checkboxes, and we know that their needs can be as unique as their stories.

Your gift to the Dignity & Freedom Fund gives the YWCA the flexibility to respond when a need arises, ensuring that a lack of resources never stands between someone and the opportunity to move forward.

Our Board has made the commitment to raise $10,000. Will you join us?
