This FREE event, hosted by YWCA NorthEastern NY on October 25th from 6:00-8:00 PM, invites parents/adults to come with or without their teens or a teen that they care about to our building at 44 Washington Ave to learn how fast teens can find themselves in a abusive relationship. With the rapidly evolving use of technology and the vulnerability we all face during those years when we are still finding ourselves, it’s important to start the conversation about what domestic violence is before it’s too late.

For this special presentation of In Their Shoes during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, you will be able to choose a “based on a true story” teen and make their decisions on how you would handle the situation they find themselves in, seeing where it leads you, and the feelings it stirs up.

We know schedules can be hectic during weekday evenings so we will provide pizza and refreshments for all attendees. All you need to worry about is getting here to be a part of this important conversation.

Please RSVP for the evening here so we can be sure to have enough food and materials for all attendees.
